APPLICATION PROCEDURE

APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN - APPLY WITH US TODAY BY CLICKING ON THE ONLINE APPLICATION TAB BELOW. 

Please note: no external application will be considered, unless the online application form has been completed.

Toddler (2 years old)  and Pre-School (3-6 years old)

• Interviews will be offered beginning in the third term (August) for places for the following year.

• An interview is not a guarantee of a place being offered.

Elementary (Grade 1-7)

• Attending CTMS Pre-School does not guarantee admission to Stepping Stones Elementary program, due the limited number of spaces available each year.

• We require all children entering Elementary to have previously attended a Montessori school for at least 2 years. 

• Admissions for Elementary Grade 1 in 2023 are still open and any applications (internal and external) will be added to our waiting list. External applicants need to follow the procedure below.

• If your child is a part of the CTMS Pre-School Program, please send an email to admissions@ctms.org.za. External applicants need to follow the procedure below.

How to apply:

1. Complete the online application form

2. Pay the non-refundable registration fee of R200 and send proof of payment to nombulelo@ctms.org.za.
   Our bank details are:
   THE CAPE TOWN MONTESSORI SCHOOL TRUST, Nedbank Gardens: Account no. 1142812537  Branch code 1010/09 

3. Please state your child’s name and ‘reg fee’ as a reference.

4. Once payment of the registration fee and application form has been received, your child’s name will be placed on our waiting list.

5. Should a place become available, you will be called for an interview and your child will need to attend an assessment. 

6. If your interview is successful, a placement fee is payable on acceptance of your child to the school. The school also requires a School Development Contribution Fee. Current fee structures can be found here.

7. Should your child be accepted into our school, you will be required to sign a Service Agreement.
